Preview any part of a track by touching its waveform in the browse section. Use Link Cue to preview tracks from another CDJ-3000 player connected via Pro DJ Link with the DJM-V10 or DJM-900NXS2 mixer.

Touch Cue

You can listen to a different section of the currently playing track by touching the waveform without the audience hearing it. This feature is particularly useful when you need to understand the track’s progression to find a suitable mixing point, particularly during DJ handovers and back-to-back sets. Furthermore, the Link Cue feature mentioned earlier allows you to listen to various parts of a track that another DJ is playing on a different player.

Stacked Waveform

You can monitor both the enlarged waveform of the master player’s track and the one you want to queue up simultaneously on a single screen. This feature allows you to identify mix points and quickly verify that the beatgrids are correctly aligned with just a glance.

Support for 3Band Waveform

You can comprehend a track’s sound without actually listening to it with the help of the 3Band Waveform feature. This feature employs various colors to indicate the volume of each frequency band in files analyzed by rekordbox, allowing you to visually examine the music’s structure just by looking at the waveform. Furthermore, the 3Band Waveform feature is an additional option to the previously available RGB and Blue options.
